- 1 heavy bottomed deep pan
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil/ vegan butter
- 1 onion diced
- 4-5 cloves garlic chopped
- 450 gms mushrooms sliced
- 2 tbsp flour gluten free
- 1 cup almond milk or other plant-based milk unsweetened
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp herb dried
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper ground
Instructions
- Firstly, in a large pot, heat olive oil or vegan butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and chopped garlic. Saute until onions are translucent.
- Now, add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become golden brown.
- Add flour and cook for 2 mins till the rawness of the flour goes away. And, keep stirring.
- Now, add water, salt, pepper and herb. Stir continuously to avoid lumps.
- Finally, after 5-7 minutes, add almond or any other plant-based milk. Stir continously.
- Serve immediately.
