Virgin Mojito Recipe | Mint Lime Mojito Drink | Non-Alchoholic Mojito

Virgin Mojito or Non-alcoholic Mojito is one of the most refreshing drinks made from very easily available ingredients like Mint, Lemon, Sugar, Soda and plenty of ice. You can serve a crowd in no time and almost zero effort.
Virgin Mojito is in the category of MOCKTAILS. Mocktail is a non-alcoholic drink which consists of fruit juice, syrups and carbonated water (Soda). It is a perfect solution for those people who want to enjoy drinks without alcohol. So, both kids and adults can have this. You can serve Virgin Mojito at a birthday party, a get-together, a road trip, during watching a movie with your friends at your home theatre. As it will not require your much time and effort to make it.

Equipment

  • Shaker
  • Muddler or Spoon
  • Glass

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Mint Leaves
  • 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp Sugar or Sugar Syrup
  • 1 cup Ice cubes
  • 4-5 Lemon Wedges
  • Club Soda or Sprite or 7up etc.

Instructions

  • Firstly, take a shaker. Add 16-17(1/2 cup) mint leaves,6-7 lemon wedges, sugar syrup, lemon juice and 12-13 ice cubes in it. Now, shake well and then pour in a glass.
  • Add club soda to the glass.
  • Finally, garnish with lemon wedges and mint leaves.
  • Serve immediately.

Alternatively….

  • Take two large serving glasses.
  • Add 8-10 fresh mint leaves, a tablespoon of sugar or sugar syrup accordingly, 3 wedges of lemon and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice in each glass.
  • Gently crush everything using a muddler or a spoon. Add 5-6 ice cubes in each glass.
  • Slowly pour the chilled Soda, Sprite or 7Up into the glass till it reaches the brim. Stir to mix.
  • Garnish with lemon wedges and mint leaves.
  • Virgin Mojito is ready to serve. Serve immediately.

Notes

Virgin Mojito is one of the most refreshing non-alcoholic drinks. You need very minimal ingredients to prepare it. Both kids and adults can relish this super refreshing flavourful drink. You can serve the crowd as you can prepare it in almost no time and with no effort. 
Some tips:
  • Firstly, you can use any carbonated drink like Sprite, 7 Up, Mountain Dew or Ginger Ale instead of Club Soda.
  • Secondly, instead of using sugar syrup you can add sugar powder adjusting the quantity.
  • Thirdly, you can add more flavours by adding fruits like Strawberries, Raspberries, Blackberries etc. 
  • Also, Please adjust the sugar content if you are adding fresh fruits or their juices.
