Garlic Chutney is a multipurpose chutney recipe which goes awesome as a side dish to breakfast, snacks or as a base to modern curries. I use this chutney as a side dish along with in sandwiches, Punjabi curries, Dals, in Pav Bhaji, paratha and also, with all diet breakfasts. 😉 It adds a yummy, spicy flavour and taste to my bland and tasteless breakfasts (doing a little cheating is OK 😉 )
Rajasthnai Lahsun ki Chutney | Garlic Chutney (Multipurpose)

Ingredients
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilly Powder
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 4-5 Red Chillies Dried
- 1/2 cup Peeled Garlic
- Salt to Taste
Instructions
- Firstly, combine the garlic cloves, dried red chillies, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, salt, and water (5-6 tbsp) in a blender to make a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. When the oil is hot enough add mustard seeds.
- When they start to crackle add chutney to it along with some water if required.
- Stir well and let it cook on medium-low heat until the raw smell is gone and chutney is thick and loses the oil. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
- Your spicy, flavourful garlic chutney is ready to serve. Serve with any paratha or snacks.
Notes
- Firstly, it is a SUPER HOT chutney. So, you can adjust the spices as per your wish.
