Crispy Paneer Oats Bites
These Paneer & Oats Tikkis are crispy, chatpata, and packed with protein and fiber. A perfect healthy snack for teens, kids, or anyone craving guilt-free comfort food. Ready in 20 minutes with simple ingredients and no deep frying needed!
Equipment
- 1 Big Bowl to mix
- 1 Potato Masher or Fork
- 1 grinder to powder oats
- 1 Non-stick pan or Tawa
- 1 Flat Spatula
- Measuring Spoons
- 1 Plat or tray for shaping tikkis
Ingredients
- ½ cup grated paneer
- ½ cup oats powder grind rolled oats
- 1 boiled potato
- 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
- 1 green chilli (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander
- ¼ tsp red chilli powder
- ¼ tsp garam masala
- salt to taste
- 1` tsp lemon juice
- oil to shallow fry or use a few drops on nonstick pan
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix paneer, mashed potato, and oats powder.
- Add onion, chilli, coriander, and all the spices. Mix in lemon juice.
- Then, form into a smooth dough and shape into flat tikkis.
- Next, heat a nonstick pan with a few drops of oil and shallow fry until golden on both sides.
- Serve hot with mint chutney, yogurt dip, or as a healthy burger filling.
Notes
In this recipe, you can make many changes. First, you can add peas, carrots etc. Also, you can add more veggies like corn or even cauliflower.
